Our Emphasis and Our Commitment to How You Learn

'Pedagogy' refers to the art and science of teaching, which resides at the heart of our Teacher Training program. In other words, how you learn and how you are taught is a fundamental part of our programming and core philosophy. Based on years of experience and study in Educational philosophy, Kula’s programs have been designed to empower you as a student and as a teacher. We work to help you be a confident and independent learner, to develop critical thinking skills, to discern and problem solve through exploration and self-discovery, and to intelligently extend your knowledge beyond the context of our course. We also recognize that students learn in different ways, and therefore we draw on myriad pedagogical techniques to ensure empowerment in the learning process.
