This spring our community will cultivate balance, clarity and energy through abundant whole foods during our 30 day Kula Cleanse with Dr Pamela Fergusson, RD from Sunday, May 27th – June 25th.

We’re offering a skillfully crafted, delicious and comprehensive 30-day clean eating program combined with regular yoga and personal coaching from Dr Pamela Fergusson RD and the Kula team. It’s the challenge that promotes physical health and wellness from the inside out, and connects you with other like-minded, health conscious people.

Most importantly, you receive guidance from a professional nutritionist & registered dietician, experienced yoga teachers with the motivation and accountability of a group setting to help you become healthier, happier and more energized!

Group support and our Health & Nutrition meetings will be held on Sunday, May 27th, June 3rd and June 17th from 7:30pm – 8:30pm at Kula Oakville.

Meet your personal Nutritionist: DR PAMELA FERGUSSON, RD

Pamela is a Registered Dietitian and Public Health Nutritionist with a PhD in nutrition. An avid traveler, Pamela has visited over 50 countries and worked as a Dietitian in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

THE CLEANSE BASICS

This is a plant-based cleanse focusing on scientific, tried and tested nutrition principles.

Your diet will consist of recipes that are:

  • Cleanse pantry – a list of key staples to keep on hand.
  • Shopping guide – a local list for where to shop to stock up for the cleanse.
  • Cleanse Advice – what to expect when you’re cleansing, how to deal with cravings, how to maximize the benefits, top tips for getting started & guidance for after the cleanse.
  • Self care guide – activity, yoga, meditation, sleep, massage.

Yoga Program & Group Support:

  • Full access to over 50 yoga classes per week at Kula Oakville or Kula Annex  from May 27-June 25, 2018 (valued at $130+hst).
  • Group support! We offer  ‘ Health & Nutrition’ workshops on Sunday, May 27th,  June 3rd, and June 17th from 7:30pm – 8:30pm  at Kula Oakville with Dr Fergusson.  Kula teachers and other participants will also support your development and education on health, wellness & nutrition.   • 2 x 30 minute nutrition consultations with Dr Pamela Ferguson (valued at over $160+hst).

The 30-Day Kula Cleanse: What You Should Now

Kula Oakville Yoga Studios now offers a better way to start your cleanse. This 30-day regime is designed to promote wellness from the inside out! Our skilled yoga teachers will guide you through the basics to help you get through your journey towards a happier and healthier you! 

Before you start a cleanse, it’s important to know that there are options. A cleanse is essentially a programme that is built around a wide range of healthy food like vegetables, grains, and fruits as a way to detoxify your body. While our bodies get rid of impurities, our lifestyle choices and eating habits greatly influence our gut health. 

It is important to know the different types of cleanses you can undergo. Some cleanses actually target specific systems in our body but the most common is the digestive tract. Our 30-day cleanse is plant-based and deeply rooted in evidence-based principles. The diet consists of meal plans that are:

  • Sugar-free
  • Gluten-free
  • Alcohol-free

It may take a while to get used to a strict diet which is why our yoga teachers and dieticians will guide you through the vital steps towards completing the month-long regime. Our studio hosts support group sessions for interested clients! We believe that a group setting will boost motivation. There is no competition in our studio which is why the more people join the cleanse, the better! 

Kindly note that while our programme is safe, certain underlying conditions may be affected as you go through the cleanse. Please consult your doctor before starting this program. Let us know about any medications or treatments you are currently taking or undergoing so that we can find the right meal plans for you. 

We offer both nutrition and yoga programs for clients who opt to join our cleanse. We provide a detailed daily cleanse calendar with recipes and important info like nutritional facts. The kit also includes a self-care guide as well as a list of ingredients that should help you gain a healthier eating lifestyle. Clients can also enjoy our yoga classes at our studio for discounted prices! 

It is important that you book a consultation with our dieticians before entering the programme. We will thoroughly assess your current vitals, eating habits, and active lifestyle to see which cleanse programme suits you the best. At this point, we would like to request that you bring with you any prescriptions or notes from your doctors should you have any underlying conditions.
